Who We Are

Alpha Omega Ekklesia is a Christ-centered church in Perambur, Chennai, established seven years ago on March 16th with a simple yet powerful vision — to worship the Lord in truth and in spirit and to live out the faith of the early church.

What began as a small house fellowship with a few Anglo-Indian families has, by God’s grace, grown into a vibrant spiritual family. The church is known for the warmth, love, and genuine fellowship among its members. Many who visit testify that they immediately feel at home. It is not merely a place to attend a service, but a spiritual family where people pray together, grow together, and support one another in Christ.

Through prayer and faith, many have experienced God’s touch, healing, and transformation, reflecting the powerful lifestyle seen in the Book of Acts, where believers lived in unity and witnessed the work of the Holy Spirit in their midst

VISION

To church the unchurched.

Our vision is to reach those who have not yet experienced the love of Christ or who have drifted away from fellowship and bring them into a living relationship with God through a loving and Spirit-filled church family.

MISSION

“I will make you fishers of men.” – Matthew 4:19

Our mission is to disciple believers to become soul winners—people who live out the Gospel, share the love of Christ, and lead others into the Kingdom of God.

Our Journey

In the early days, the church met in a small home where families gathered in prayer, worship, and the study of God’s Word. As the congregation began to grow, the Lord opened new doors for the ministry.

At one stage, a school principal—who had personally experienced healing through the prayers of the church—graciously offered the school’s open hall for the congregation to conduct services. Although the open hall came with certain challenges, God faithfully sustained the church during that season.

In His perfect timing, God blessed the church with a beautiful place that now serves as a dedicated venue for all our meetings and worship gatherings.

Today, Alpha Omega Ekklesia continues to grow as a family of believers committed to prayer, fellowship, and the transforming power of God’s Word.

The church is faithfully shepherded by Pastor Larry Agassis and Pastor Soma, who guide the congregation in spiritual growth, discipleship, and service.
